SAARC is an acronym which stands for south association for regional co-operation . As is clear from the name ,SAARC is a regional platform for co-operation . SAARC member countries Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka . Recently Afganistan has been recognised as the eight member of saarc nations .Besides, UN, OIC, EU, have got the observer status of SAARC
