44 Percent of Russians Have Heard of Cryptocurrency, New Survey Reveals

More than half of Russia's population is well aware of cryptocurrency and 13 percent claim that they should have a good understanding, researcher Romeir revealed the research on August 7.

A representative of the Gallup International Association in Rommer, Russia asked about 1,500 Russian residents about the knowledge of poetry and other cryptocurrency, as well as asked about their plans for interacting with the industry.

44 of them had heard of crypto, 13 percent said they had a good understanding, and 56 percent did not know what the word was.

It has also been said in the survey that 31 ℅ people said that they know but clearly it is not what they are.
Russia is in the middle of giving formalization of its regulatory approach to various aspects of cryptocurrency incident, including taxation, mining and exchange of secret assets.

In the beginning of this year, the first reading of the package of draft bills related to cryptocurants and blockchains was successful, especially after years of mixed signals about the validity of Bitcoin (BTC). The Russian government has not formally accepted laws as law.

Romi's President Andree Milookin noted that the results of the survey "concluded that cryptocoors have not yet made a meaningful financial instrument but can be made in the future."
"Apart from this, the Russian society, which was already burning its fingers with various rich-quick schemes, is displaying healthy suspicions in this case."

Other findings of the survey included the relationship between the income and knowledge of the crypto sector: low-income people got more information about cryptocurrency.

At the end of January, a survey related to another crypto organized by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VCIOOM) found that more than 56 percent of Russians had heard of Bitcouine, noting that Russia's There is 74 percent of the capital city of Moscow, now it is aware of cryptocurrency.
