What sort of losses are Russia seeing at the moment?

Even if inflated, the visually confirmed losses are quite high, so the true number isn't exactly low either.

We've also seen that the Russian military has had to reorganize and reform the Battalion Tactical Groups as a result of their losses. Many BTGs were crippled, so they had to mix the remaining functional units together.

In addition, intercepted communications indicate inability to strengthen key fronts due to losses. And we see Russian troop movement outside of Ukraine, suggesting a need for new conscripts and resupply.

The troop numbers I'm a bit sceptical of, but the equipment losses probably aren't too far off.

Note, these are killed in action, and therefore casualties would be way higher. The independent estimates are 10-15% of their pre-invasion force may be out of commission in some form.

The increased weapon supplies from other countries has done a whole lot of help, and it would not be surprising to see 10% KIA at the on month mark.
