Russia may ban Bitcoin's homemade mining due to electricity and hazards

in #russia7 years ago

Russia is considering a ban on Bitcoin's mining residences, even though electricity companies have talks about the ability of the miners to restore energy. "Anything [mining related] that goes on inside the country is a waste of electricity, , says RIA, citing IMF chairman Ilya Massukh. "It is somewhat dubious in terms of efficiency for the Russian economy." Russia continues to avoid mixed signals in the crypto-currency and the Blockchain regulation. Last week, the Bitcoin Guide reported that the country's two major electricity giants were discussing options for miners to use extra capacity available for Bitcoin's mining purposes. At the same time, an organization co-founded by President Putin's adviser is trying to raise $ 100 million to finance a large mining project that apparently aims to reduce China, which has higher electricity costs

Don't fret my dears... the powers that be will find lame excuses to ban bitcoin. But it's just a momentary disruption. For every problem "they" create, 100 solutions will be created... so get excited! :)
