Trail run Tongariro Crossing New Zealand.
This was one of the best solo adventures I've ever been on.
My adrenaline was pumping nearly the whole trip! I had just finished university exams and was feeling restless, so I decided I would wake up before dawn the following day, drive 4 hours south and run up Mt. Ngauruhoe aka Mt. Doom from the Lord of the Rings. And thats what I did.

I'm a bit out of shape for a hard 10k. I presume you and Morgan will be running!? Ive never done that race before.
