The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) examination in three stages Preliminary, Main, and Interview/Personality Test. The exam requires significant effort and a solid grasp of the syllabus. The RAS Pre Exam is a screening test that consists of one paper with 150 multiple-choice questions on History, Art, Culture, Literature, Tradition, and Heritage of Rajasthan. The RAS Main Exam has four papers that are descriptive in nature, and the syllabus includes Indian History & Culture, Economic Concepts and Indian Economy, Geography of World and India, Science & Technology, Indian Constitution, Political System & Governance, Political and Administrative System of Rajasthan, and Reasoning & Mental Ability. The Interview/Personality Test is the final stage and carries 100 marks.
