#RPGADay2018 Day 18

Day 18; What art inspires your game?
Honestly, everything. It's like my taste in music; I don't know if I'll like it and it inspires me until I take a look/listen, and I typically tend to like one or two things by an artist/band and little else by them. I'll post a few of my favorites, though sadly I can't source some of them as I have literally never been able to get Google's reverse image lookup thing to work for me and they have been sourced either from my players (who are lovely, lovely people and send me all kinds of art to love on) or come from tumblr, Pintrest, We Heart It, or similar sources without proper credit given or I've had them for so long that the original source is forgotten because it was before the age when I learned that proper credit and sourcing is needed ):
Warning - some images may be disturbing to younger audiences as I intended for the monsters my players fight to be scary in a horror movie way since I always play with those 18 and older. You have been duly warned.

Some crazy coins one of my player sent me, an idea for what the coins of the world might look like that I adored.

A very small selection of the monsters my players have fought and a really neat griffin image I used to represent the griffin riders when they're present.

Another small selection of places I have saved - magical places and cities that I can use for quick visual reference for the important part for my players.
I could go on and on. I've got a 2 tb external hard drive and it's at least 1/4 filled with reference and inspiration images like this. Potential character/npc references, more monsters and places, magical items, you name it and I've got a reference for it somewhere in all that mess :)
