Red rose is a flower that represents the symbol of love. Rose is one of the most favourite and best known in the word. Wild ones have 5 petals and 5 sepals, the ones that have a larger number of petals are the ones that are cultivated. Rose has a fruit called rosehip which it is a rich source of vitamin C used for cooking or medical treatment. Roses are really old plants and one of the oldest roses discovered dates back from 35 million years ago. However roses can survive a long period of time like the rose that covers the wall of the Cathedral of Hildersen in Germany that has over 1000 years.
