Recycled Rocket
SpaceX launched the world's first recycled rocket at once in history a few days ago.
The rocket named The Falcon 9 was first used to launch a spacecraft named Dragon who was in charge of supplying supplies to the International Space Station, last April.
Successfully landed on earth, The Falcon 9 was instantly fixed to launch commercial communications satellites on Thursday 30 March 2017.
In another historic achievement for space, SpaceX Elon Musk has successfully launched recycling rockets, and spacecraft for the first time. After a series of delays, the company's 13th Corporate Resupply Services 13 (CRS-13) mission to the International Space Station (ISS) finally drove from Cape Canaveral in Florida just before 11 am (ET) on Friday.
The Falcon 9 itself was repaired for 4 months to be ready to be relaunched last Thursday. SpaceX is really working hard to bring rocket back home to Earth in just one day. This is getting closer to how a plane operates.
The success of The Falcon 9 rocket shows that something that is believed impossible to do could actually be true.
The Falcon 9 rocket managed to slide on Monday (30/10) from the Kennedy Space Center Launch Station. Falcon 9 successfully sends the 5th A-frame communications satellite into orbit.
A few minutes after takeoff, one part of the rocket has landed back in the Atlantic Ocean. The success of this mission is in line with the target CEO Elon Musk who wants to encourage rocket users for more than one launch to reduce the cost of satellite launch.
