Road to Steemfest || Fears

This time it's about fears of Steemfest, the trip to Bangkok and Bangkok itself! It's hard to point out what I'm afraid of for this trip since I'm just excited to go Bangkok and attend Steemfest. But after much thinking and planning, I think I found my fears!

1) Missing the flight

My number one fear would be missing the flight! I have missed a flight before and I know how disappointing it can be! Imagine having prepared so much for a trip, only to miss the most important part of it, which is to actually get there! And it will also cause so much hassle to book a new flight, rearrange the accommodation and reschedule the travel itinerary. So, in order to avoid this, I definitely need to get to the airport early. Or maybe just stay overnight at the airport 😂

2) Missing important test or quiz

The only thing I'm worried about now is my classes. I do try hard to make sure that I won't miss anything important while I will be away but I do hope my lecturers won't conduct a sudden test or quiz. While those may only contribute 5-10% to my final result, I really don't want to lose those marks. But if it happens, it means that I need to make sure I do well in my finals to compensate the marks that I lose.

3) Travel itinerary

I like to plan and stick to them. I enjoy coming out with my own travel itinerary. But this time, I decided to just follow the flow and see where it leads me. This is a little bit outside of my comfort zone but I also do not want to come out with a plan because I will have the tendency to stick with it. So for this trip, I expect to just gather with other Steemians and tag along to where ever the majority decides. I'm uncomfortable of not having a travel plan but at the same time, I am excited to see where this will lead me. 😄
