I was doing my roadtosteemfest post a few days ago when I first saw that many of you also did another Tonic: Why Am I going to Steemfest and You should come too!!!

It is only less than one month until I enter the plane to Bangkok!!! Oh yeah Baby Steemfest 4!!! - and if you didn't get your ticket yet you should better hurry!!! You really don't wanna miss this event believe me!

Why am I going this year?

Because if it is nearly as good as last year it will be awesome & if it is in Thailand it is even better!!!!!

Sure, it is a long distance flight and a bit far away... and also I just have been there in January, but for me Thailand is one of those countries where you never get enough! And also Krakow was cool, but also really Cold!! I am looking forward to the warm climate ;)

1. The people are soo nice and sweet in Thailand in general, but also at Steemfest!! - I can't wait to see some people from last year again and have a great time together, but I am also looking forward to see new faces and to have more time with everybody!!

2. The street food is awesome!! I loooove the food there!! and it is soo healthy!!

3. Everything is sooo afortable, so even if it is a long travel coming from Europe, you don`t pay nearly as much for accomodation and food as in Europe.

4. There are so many cultural sights to visit in Bangkok and it is the perfect spot to start a longer travel anywhere in Asia.

5. I just love the organized chaos they have!! Last time I went, I drove streight to the city center and instantly felt alive again!! At the same time it is really easy to travel from one point to another, to hitchhike, take boats ok Tuk Tuks and everything on short notice! So you are always super flexible!

6. And last but not least, it is a Big Chance to escape Winter just for a little bit longer and enjoy the Sun ;)

Last year I drove nearly 12 hrs as well. Five from Munich to Vienna and then another seven up to Krakow. Crossing about 3 countries just to attend my first SteemFest. To Lisbon sadly I couldn't make it 2 years ago, because I was stuck in Patagonia. This time, it is a very confortable direct flight (still 12 hours!) and I will have some vacation just after in the sun <3

Why You Should Come Too?

I think everybody that ever has been to Steemfest doesn't need to read that part. As @travelgirl already said, once you have the bug you will never loose it!! - So all previous attendees already know how awesome it is and if they are not coming, they have for sure a really good excuse!

To everybody that never had been attending before: I know how you feel. Last time I was pretty nervous, because I didn't really know what to expect. I just did know a few people at the conference and most of the others were just big names to me.

With some of them I had been in contact already and with others not. I was surprised actually how known I was already by the comunity there. - A lot of people recognized me, which made it easier. But also the others were pretty open and accessable. In the end we are all just normal people with one common passion for steem. - So don't be scared!!

I assure you, if you don't know who to speak to, you can always come to me! I definitely wanna meet you ;) And I am really nice to you - PROMISE!

1. I know @roelandp will do an awesome job as always and we will be ending up at a new place I haven’t been to or do adventurous stuff. Last year for example we had a Poker tournament, went bowling, visited a salt mine, did a boat tour, Karaoke etc... I honestly never slept so little and had so much energy at the same time, having an awesome time.

2. At the conferences you will get knowledge about several projects on steem. The speakers may give you an inside of their future steps, so you know already where steem is heading and most importantly get in touch with the founders in person if you want to join in or get more Information.

3. You will meet great like minded people with the same passion. That for me is the most beautiful thing on this plattform: The comunity!! Well at steemfest you have the chance to meet the greatest variety of people keeping this plattform alive! - You can get in touch with them, do activities together and even find new friends from all over the globe!

1. And then again! Thailand is awesome: The people are super nice and sweet, it is really safe, it is inexpensive, the street food is delicious and Bangkok is the best HUB to do a longer travel right after Steemfest as from here it is one of the easiest points to discover SE Asia OR you just stay in Thailand and check it out. It has soooo much to offer!! I just love it!!
