Eric just published the recap of the last “RTSF” topic, “shoutouts” a couple of hours ago so, I am kind of late to the party. I postponed making this post for a bit now, partly because I wasn’t able to sit down in my proper environment and hit keys on a plastic board to make words appear on a screen, and partly because it always feels rather weird to drop names in a post since, you always end up forgetting people that deserve to be on your list.

There are so many Steemians that I want to meet at the event that I really don’t know how many I should mention in here since I don’t want to fill the post only with usernames. But, at the end of the day, this is a name-dropping post so, I will make the most out of it, and spam some epic people with tag notifications.

First of all, there’s one motherfucker that I really want to meet, and, that’s of course @Ned. What, you thought I was going to say @anomadsoul, didn’t you? Ned is the only reason I’m attending SF3; actually, I want to touch that shiny hair of his, and, by the looks of it, we’re already quite a couple of people with the same goal in mind. Who knows, maybe it is doable.

But, jokes aside, I am really looking forward to meeting @anomadsoul. I know this dude from my first month on the blockchain because we were both OCD curators. We got along well quickly, and we were planning to meet, and have some drinks with Romanian girls last year, after SF2 (I didn’t attend that one) but we never managed to make it happen so, now it’s about the time. I’m sure that we’re going to have a blast at the event, we’re probably gonna drown ourselves in cheap Polish alcohol.

Then, there are two amazing people that I worked and interacted with over the past 10ish months, @voronoi, and @hansikhouse, that I really desire to have a glass (or more) of Blockchain and Bourbon with, like the gents, and talk the state of crypto amongst other topics. I’m sure they are going to be very busy at the fest but, I do hope that we manage to spend some time together, maybe with all the Sndbox members that are attending as well.

@Alexvan is one of my fellow Romanians that I’m really looking forward to meeting; I know him since joining Steem, and now it’s just the perfect time to have some real-life interactions. Also, to my knowledge his bringing some Palinka as well, so, everybody’s going to have a blast at SF, that’s for sure. Also, congrats for the little one, Alex.

Next, there’s somebody I only started interacting with recently, after finding out that she’s both Romanian and of a similar age with me, and that’s @honeydue. I mean, we have a handful of things in common like whiskey, and the fact that we both suck at bowling so, I’m sure that we’re gonna get along just about fine. Oh, also, we set up a loser’s team for the SF bowling competition in case you want to join us, booze is included along with the last place.

Of course, there’s @tarazkp who everybody seems to wanna meet, and have philosophical talks with him but, even if I know he’s not a heavy drinker, I hope we’ll be able to chat some philosophy while getting some drinks rolling. I often tend to get rather philosophical when I drink so that would be just a perfect way of doing it.

There’s no shoutout post without mentioning @eveuncovered, now, is it? We mostly interacted through posts so far (maybe I should spend more time in DZ), but we have a couple of similarities, and a lot of common friends so, obviously, there’s no way we will not have a great time. Knowing that you’re also a bad bowling player, maybe you wanna join our losing bowling team, as I said above, drinks are included along with the last place, especially the last place. :)

There’s somebody I haven’t talked to in a while but, we used to get along pretty great back in the days, and maybe now it’s the time to have those beers we were talking about @fabien.

I’m also really looking forward to meeting my fellow @OCD curators, @fukako, @jeanpi1908, @travelgirl, and @GMuxx, I know these guys for more than a year now, and SF is just the perfect place to have some fun together. Damn, such a shame @Acidyo won’t be joining us.

I also know that I’m going to be interacting quite a bit with @raj808, @abh12345, and @celestal while being at SteemFest, let’s hope they are up for some fun that if we manage to pack enough clothes, so we don’t get to freeze to death. I really wanna see @evecab who I know is a party beast, and I’m sure she’s going to put me under the table when it comes to drinking.

But, I also want to meet @misslasvegas who has an epic combination of profile picture and username; maybe we get to take some pictures with Jeff, after losing all of our Oreos at poker. Also, @revisesociology who’s simply a brilliant human, I know that SF means vacation time for him so maybe he’s up for some drinks. I will also try to keep some Palinka for @soyrosa and @daveonarrival, they both seem to be in for some shots but, we might run out of it quickly so you guys will have to hurry.

Fuck! This post was meant to be a short one but, goddamn it, I couldn’t skip out on these people, had to mention them all, and even so, there are plenty more deserving to be on this list but, I think it’s enough for now.

As an overall idea, it looks like I’m going to be having quite a couple of drinks at the fest, with quite a couple of people so, I’d better get myself ready for that one, huge, and probably with slim to no sleep week.

And, with this post, I just realized that I might have more quality friends online, than offline. Thank you for reading.
