Could Ripple awaken the Crypto Market

It's no secret that Ripple has been performing exceptionally well over the last few days. In case you missed it, Ripple climbed 192%(peak) from about $0.27 to $0.79 and settled around the current price of $0.55(103% gain).

The reason for the climb is no doubt the recent announcement that xRapid may go live in the next month or so. This has raised speculation for an October Release. xRapid used XRP tokens as a bridge between currencies for the fast transfer of currencies across borders at a fraction of the price(40% - 70% saving) .

My personal outlook is that XRP will return to the 50 SMA normal before going up further.
The Relative Strength Index shows that the currency is overbought however that is to be expected.

Over the last week a sense of excitement about the crypto market has bubbled up in me and the Ripple news has had a positive effect on other Crypto markets too. Overall marketcap has gone up from $201 billion on 16 September 2018 to $221 billion on 24 September. About a 10% gain.

All it takes is one top 10 coin to have a solid bull run and that could wake up the entire market again. The market has been depressed for months, could we awaken the sleeping bear?
