Ripple expands Japan bank consortium to 61 members
47 banks successfully completed a pilot implementation 
of Ripple to enable real-time money transfers both domestically and internationally - with the goal of going live by year end.
All three mega banks have now joined the Japan bank consortium using Ripple, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), MUFG and Mizuho. We also welcome Japan Post Bank to the roster of the top banks by assets using Ripple for payments in Japan.
At roughly 20cent per ripple it would hard to imagine a better function blockchain , it's spied is on par with visa as well ! Roughly 3 seconds to complete a transactions ! I feel good about the future of ripple ! And see it as a stands out bargain in the crypto realm !
