Ripple has gained a lot of hype now a days, its on number 2 on coinmarketcap.com, however in my reckoning people are misguided if they are comparing ripple with other Blockchain currrencies, Ripple is facilitating banks in speedy transactions thats it. And it is also said that its originators have put just 38% of ripple in market, rest 62% out of 100,000,000,000 are still with them.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said on CNBC himself " one of the things we all have to remember is value of token over long term is really going to be driven by its utility. There's no question there's hype in the system"

Having said that one can follow and invest in Ripple as a company but ripple as a coin is not trust worthy, bubble can happen at any time and you can fall back to 1$ and below , but thats what is my analysis, anything can happen anytime afterall its crypto world, invest for short term take profit and exit, that will be a good strategy, GL
