Rings Are Not Ordinary, They Serve As A Bridge Between Couples And Mariage

in #rings7 years ago

It is quite unfortunate how illegal some relationships are started these days
It was initially formal and recognized where the two involved, that is ( the man and the woman) would propose and consent, court to know each other for sometime, do the necessary introduction, make engagements and proceed with marriage to start a family on their own.
But it has become so ordinary that people no longer care what value it will add them.

Now back to the matter, these two rings up there seems to be a set of couple to me than just normal rings.
I look at it and I see two persons, a man and a woman at the alter waiting to be pronounce as Husband and Wife.
But before the rings are exchanged, the Pastor has to say some few words to bond the two together;
Minister will say, "Please join hands"
Then the marriage vows goes like;

Minister - "I ask you each now, to repeat the marriage vows."
Groom - I ________ take you, ________ for my wedded wife, To love and cherish, For better or worse, For richer or poorer, In sickness and in health. From this day forward.
Bride - I, _________ take you, ________ for my wedded husband, To love and cherish, For better or worse, For richer or poorer, In sickness and in health. From this day forward.
Blessing of the Rings
Minister - "Bless, oh Lord The Giving of these rings that they who wear them may live in your peace and your favor all the days of their life; through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Exchange of Rings
Minister -" As you place this ring on your partners finger I ask that you repeat these words."
Groom and Bride - "This ring is my sacred gift to you, A symbol of my love, A sign that form this day forward and always, My love will surround you, With this ring I thee wed."

After that is done, the Pastor pronounces them as husband and wife in the Benediction;
"May the Peace and the Unconditional Love of God surround you and remain with you now and forevermore. Amen."
"You may seal your vows with a kiss"

Mmwaaah! And marriage is complete.
Hope y'all find your rightful partners someday
