in #richest7 years ago

The Forbes Billionaires List 2016 shows the aggregate wealth of 1,810 billionaires of the world and that is approximately $6.5 trillion, which is more than the GDP of Japan (third largest economy of the world with a GDP of $4.4 trillion). That mean 0.00002 percent of the world population accounts for 9 % of the world's GDP of about $74 trillion.
This estimate is totally based on the total asset value of the person and that includes the real estate, yachts, art , cash and stakes in public and private companies. And that list start with my favorite personality and that none other then Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. The richest person of the world with net worth of $75 billion. His wealth net worth is greater than the GDP of 122 countries. If he liquidates all of his assets then he could purchase all of the final goods and services supplied by Myanmar in a single year.
The US has the largest number of billionaires (540 persons) which is 30% of the world's billionaires and 37% ($2.4 trillion) of the group's aggregate assets wealth.
And The other five countries are China with 251 billionaires, Germany with 120 billionaires, India with 84 billionaires, Russia with 77 billionaires and Hong Kong with 64. According to the Forbes Billionaires List China will have more billionaires than the United States in 7 to 8 years.!
