Want to work for Richard Branson on his private Caribbean island? There's an opening
Ever dream of working for a billionaire on a private Caribbean island? If you have the organizational skills to manage two busy offices, Virgin Group might have a job for you.
Richard Branson's company posted an advertisement for a personal assistant and administrative assistant last week, and the perks are breathtaking.
The role is based on Necker Island, Branson's private "island paradise" in the British Virgin Islands. The island is home to beautiful beaches, giant tortoises and luxury amenities. Hungry? Just grab a fresh sushi roll on a floating kayak at the beach pool, because that's a thing.
OK — there is work involved.
"The main responsibilities will be diary and email management, general correspondence, filing and archiving, booking travel and providing cover for Richard’s PA when they're on holiday, amongst a whole host of other admin-related tasks," according to the job description posted on LinkedIn. "It’s a busy role in two even busier offices so think carefully as it’s not for everyone (despite the sunshine)."
Organization skills are a must, but so is a great personality, the post stresses. To apply, Virgin asks applicants to email a 2-minute or less video of themselves along with a resume. The deadline to apply is March 10.
While you wait to hear back, here are a few photos Branson has shared of Necker Island:
