That sounds very similar to this experiment. Now that reminds me of my grandmothers farm. Not really the same but when she worked on the farm and was about to eat she would say we can’t wash our hands on the farm because it was demeaning to the soil or something like that. We would have to go off of that area to wash our hands and eat .
