How to get a great logo for your blog

in #reviews8 years ago (edited)

This is my new logo. Nice, isn't it?

I could design something myself of course, but I'm not that good at graphic design so I decided to hire a professional graphic designer to make one for me.

I went to Fiverr.com and looked around for someone with the style I was going for and found a graphic designer from Pakistan called Videovoisor. I really liked the minimalist style of the logo in one of his gigs.

I gave some short directions on the rough idea I had plus some reference material and within one day and in one try he produced exactly what I was looking for! I'm very happy with his services and highly recommend them.

Cost

It cost me a total of $6, $5 to the artist and $1 service charge. But it was totally worth it to not have to spend maybe days doing it myself.

Ask yourself: How much is my time worth?

Why a desert fox?

If you're into zoology, you may get the reference. My family name Fenneck derives from the fennec fox, another name for the desert fox - originally from Arabic/Persian Fanak - so it seemed appropriate. And it makes a great logo, wouldn't you say?

Why don't you try it?

Do you have any tasks that you have been putting off, and that you maybe could do yourself, but that an expert just might do better? We have an old saying: "Stinginess deceives wisdom" - Sometimes it may be wise to pay a bit extra for quality.

If you haven't already, why not hire one of the many talents on Fiverr.com, for example Videovoisor, to give you an expert solution?

I've bought a few logos from Fiverr in the past myself, and they have all ended up looking really good. Money well spent in my opinion! Your new logo really really cool by the way ;)

Thanks, I'm really happy with it. :-)

Thanks for the useful information!
