Post Valentine: Mangan Restaurant at Glorietta Review

This post will be my post valentine entry. I still want to include this to my blogs here in Steemit because the experience is memorable. It was my first date.

Okay, I will not divulge who I were with because we were not two individuals, but a group date. It was a nice one and hoping to have another, even on regular days.

We went to Mangan , a Kapampangan Restaurant in 2nd Floor, Glorietta 1, Makati, Philippines.

Because I am not into dining out, one thing I noticed is the price range. For Php800, it already covers 2 persons. They serve Filipino Dishes and most are Kapampangan Dishes. I was not interested on some typical dishes actually because my eyes were stuck on bibingka, ginataang monggo and Puto bumbong, however, my group wants to taste most of the Filipino dishes, so who am I to not oblige.

I ordered Inihaw na Liempo.

It was good but I wish the meat was tender. It was not easy to slice and I need to give all my energy to be able to slice it.

Our other orders where Pinakbet with Lechon Kawali, Sisig, Tinapa Rice and the one that I don't recall anymore, lol.

Here is my little review about the place, it was congested. The place is small for people who are visiting the restaurant. The food are good but what I least like is that I was sitting close to strangers. It was quick for them to prepare our orders, however, it was 15 minutes or more for our follow-up order. Even our billed out, it took as more than 10 minutes before we able to get the attention of the waitress. Anyway, it is understandable during that time because it was the day after Valentines and it was pay day too. Maybe the service will be good if we visited during regular days.

Since the food is good and it was affordable for a group, I wish to come back. However, for the people who are into dining out but saving money, you need to find more affordable restaurants. I still want to give my 4 rating.
