REVIEW. Chronicle of the Unhewn Throne. Book three: The Last Mortal Bond.

in #review7 years ago

Hi guys, I continue with the third part of the Chronicle of the Unhewn Throne.

Last Mortal Bond is also the last in this trilogy.

Bryn Staveley is a relatively new writer in the world of fantasy and I have to say that I was positively surprised. Now, can I see all his work through this trilogy.

The first book in the series was a great introduction to the whole story. Not too complicated the story. The first part is great indeed. The quality of writing was also carried out through another book, although in the second book, there are many more actions, complicated.

Now, when I read the third part of the book, I can tell you that it was deliberately or by accident best preserved for the end!

Our heroes from the previous three parts, Valyn, Kaden and Adare are still here. Now, their stories are even more intertwined, even more controversial to each other. In their world, there are thestories that they thought they had been told for millennia backward. They thought these storiesare myts. However, around them develops the intrigues over their understanding, which are so deep, deeper than the beginning of the human race.

Each of these three is too involved in everything and it shapes their lives whether they want it or not.

The cruel situations in which the writer puts them out and test them again, reinforces their personality and removes them from innocent people who were only a year ago.

The writer introduces many factors into the story, which makes them forced to fight on the many fronts to save the human race. You have to read it so you can see. I'm not going to write about action in the book. :)

There are, of course, certain objections, too, on my part. Some parts of the story remained unconfirmed, overly fasted over some things. I really hope that in his next work there will not be. Also, I would say that his descriptions of battles are somewhat weak, but I am sure that this will change.

Also, I must point out that in an incredible way he led the story throughout the book to its final ending, all the factors were perfectly agreed and it can not be blamed on this. Thread of the story is always there, and constant action from start to finish. He succeeded in faithfully showing all the colors of the human soul, from joy to extreme sadness and betrayal.

All in all, after a month of swimming in this new world of fantasy, I would say it was worth it and I would recommend it to everyone. And now I continue on, the new writer, the new world and the new characters. Of course you will be informed about it via my blog.

I'll see you soon. :)
