Anime Recommendation - Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia)

in #review7 years ago

Don't we all imagine how it would be to be a superhero and save the world from the evil? How convenient would it be to fly, jump super far, teleport yourself, etc?.

The Following Anime will take you in this magical land in which superpowers called quirks are a common thing. In which one Person who desires to be the ultimate Superhero is not gifted with any kind of superpower.

"All men are not created equal. This was the reality about the society that I learned at a young age of four."

Synopsis:

The appearance of "quirks," newly discovered super powers, has been steadily increasing over the years, with 80 percent of humanity possessing various abilities from manipulation of elements to shapeshifting. This leaves the remainder of the world completely powerless, and Izuku Midoriya is one such individual.

Since he was a child, the ambitious middle schooler has wanted nothing more than to be a hero. Izuku's unfair fate leaves him admiring heroes and taking notes on them whenever he can. But it seems that his persistence has borne some fruit: Izuku meets the number one hero and his personal idol, All Might. All Might's quirk is a unique ability that can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku to be his successor!

Enduring many months of grueling training, Izuku enrolls in UA High, a prestigious high school famous for its excellent hero training program, and this year's freshmen look especially promising. With his bizarre but talented classmates and the looming threat of a villainous organization, Izuku will soon learn what it really means to be a hero.

Overall:

Fans of the Shounen Genre should know really well what is to be expected of this awesome anime. The Story of Boku no Hero Academia couldn't be any cheesier. The Premise of the Anime is pretty ordinary for anything related to the shounen genre.

The Anime is off to a really slow start and leaves a lot of Anime fans on the track. I've seen a lot of people drop the series before the first 4 Episodes just because the series tends to start really slow. The first 4 Episodes could be seen as a prolog to this fantastic story.

The Anime tends to shift gears after the 4th episode, where it finally start to go to the good stuff. While it becomes more battle-oriented, it also doesn't leave out the characters that drive it and adds more to them.

Characters:

The Characters are well made and the Character development plays a big role in throughout the Anime. The mid phases of the series are also where the rivalry of Izuku and his life-long friend and also the enemy, Katsuki Bakugo, is at its peak. The Rivalry between the "two" main characters of the series is an interesting point in the plot that makes both of the characters deeper and more complex.

Animations:

The Animations of the Anime are a bit unique, but for everyone that loves the Animations of the Studio Bones should be fine with everything in the Anime. The Animations didn't strike me as odd or unsatisfying, but rather as really unique and fitting. Studio Bones did what they do best at presenting the honest and fluid animations as they always have. This unique style really makes for amazing battle scenes, that are tailored with a great sense of detail.

Sound and Voice acting:

The Sounds and Voice acting in the Anime play a major role and make the Anime truly amazing. The Voice actors did an amazing job in adjusting the voices of the characters to certain situations and actions, which send goosebumps down my spine. The catchy lines that all heroes seem to spurt out from time to time are really well made and established.

Conclusion:

I'll keep this one really short for you guys.

If you love shounen anime's, then My Hero Academia will deliver. There is no doubt about that, but its a matter of perspective. It has fights which are more tactically focused and it keeps the audience on the edge of their seats and has cool characters with some ridiculous powers.

The Second Season of the Anime is currently airing.

Sort:

yess! I'm so want to watch it, but first I'm gonna finish Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no orphans. Is a mecha genre so so good, sad and with a super interesting story development. I want to make a review too when I'm finished, also I recommend it to you! :)

Great anime! I hope the secund season has more chapters than the first season. My favorite character is "Tokoyami Fumikage" I think he has one of the most interesting abilities despite having bird head xD.

I havent really got that much into that Anime, I heard is great, but I am not digging the animation much and for that I have stayed away from this one.

This is a definite watch. The fight between Izuku Midoriya and Shouto Todoroki was really impressive. It was a CLASSIC anime fight that will be remembered for years to come, especially as AMVs on youtube.lol.

THIS ANIME IS AWESOME
