Knowledge is power, we always hear it from people. Especially people who grow up in a middle-class background. Well, it's not just a saying which we can find out in the tv series called Breaking Bad. How a person with knowledge of chemistry can make powerful weapons and totally undetectable in nature for general people, we can see that in this series. His way of doing work is much more intelligent, unique and more effective. This is a tv series which made me believe that what I am doing is not something which doesn't have any use. This series also shows that a mind without fear can change the whole construction of society in a good or bad way. This series showed the genius of the director Vince Gilligan and the actors, especially Bryan Cranston who acts as Walter White and Aaron Paul who acts as Jesse. So, let us jump into it.

Synopsis

The series tells us about the story of a high school chemistry teacher. Hss life was pretty miserable, although he was a genius in chemistry. He works with the kids in school who make fun of him and he has to do overtime in car washing to maintain his family. Even his sex life was awful. He was a man full of fear and he has a wife who can be a pain in the ass sometimes. The story goes life Walter was coughing sometimes and he didn't think that it was something so serious. But one day he fainted in the workplace and he finds out that he is suffering from lung cancer which is incurable.

That twisted the whole plot of the series. I stead of being afraid of death, he felt like he got the awakening call. He felt that he has never lived his life. He built a company out of his own research which was taken by his ex-lover and friend. Walter was a pretty miserable person but he had the knowledge of chemistry. So, He thought of making drugs. It is not any other drugs, it's crystal meth. As it was expensive and he thought of making as much as money possible for the future of his family.

But the thing was he knew only how to cook methamphetamine, he didn't know how to supply it. So, he partnered up with Jesse, who was his student, selling meth as well as an addict. But, Jesse was joking with him as he thought that cooking meth is an art and Walter doesn't have any idea of it. But when Walter made 99 % pure meth he believed him. Although after he made some stupid mistake but Jesse learned through the process. It was hard to supply as there was already cartels who were selling meth in the market. They didn' t wanted that new and better product comes in the market. In this process, they wanted to kill Walter and Jesse but Walter does his first murder in a unique way. He used poisonous Phosphine gas to kill them.

Walter was not happier with the improvement of their business, so, he sends Jesse to another Mexican drug lord Tuco. Tuco is very crazy and bizarre in nature, so he beat Jesse up and take the meth.

Hearing that, Walter goes to him and ask for the money or the meth he hijacked from Jesse. They think that he is so stupid, as he is acting like his beaten partner. But here he uses the explosive fulminated mercury. So, he got his money back and as well as a business deal. So, he starts making meth for Tuco and supply to him. But there is a lot of twists in between this characters which I don't want to spoil now. The dialogue between the are so awesome and Tuco's character is full of craziness. He made the character so phenomenal, the way he does work is phenomenal and so professional.

But things don't go so well for Walter at home. As his wife made his life more and more difficult, call family meetings and try to harass him in front of everyone. His brother in law is also DEA, whose job is to find out the drug lords. His wife tries to force him to do chemotherapy and to take money from the friends who cut him off out of the business, once he established. So, the full series is full of twist and thrills.

My thoughts

The serial is extraordinary to me. How the director depicted the character of a man full of fear turns into a fearless man was truly amazing to see. The way he enjoys every breath until the time comes for him to die and the way he does things with a passion was really great to see. It reminds me the saying "live a little my friend". Even the smallest character of the series played his role so well. I see from this series how things can be done in different ways and the power of science. Although Walter used it in a bad way but there are a lot of amazing things here to be charmed and entertain and to be motivated. It made me understand when you face the deadline of your life, we suddenly understand the value of life and every moment should be lived until the time comes.
