[Review] Qualidea Code
Quality, is one aspect that will be assessed in advance by the anime series audience. Quality is also a bit much determine whether someone will continue to watch the anime from start to finish, because many people who are not willing to develop eye cancer see anime with poor quality. But there are times when someone is willing to continue to watch an anime out of curiosity with the story even though its quality is like the monorail pillars in Senayan, responsibility.
This series tells the story of a group of high school kids who have a super power called World to quell Unknown, the aliens who came to seize their freedom. They protect 3 cities: Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba. Each character has a unique power that is different, some can control gravity, some can freeze the enemy, some can make energy swords as big as the building.
Unfortunately, the Qualidea Code was created when the three good friends were drinking, allegedly super drunk, brainstorming fun and suddenly created the idea to make it a reality. And they did, make it happen. For the better or worse. I'm also a little suspicious if they are still drunk while allocating funds for this anime.
The anime is suffering from a severe budget shortage, so it's hard for almost all JOI staff to watch it stop in the middle of the road. Only 3 people who dare to continue watching for some things and trying to forget if the quality is not up to our standard, really.
The characters Kasumi and Asuha are my favorites of this series, in addition to his indifferent attitude, often making the Ichiya bland to be slightly colored. The interaction of the tsundere siscon siblings is also what keeps me going to the end.
Unfortunately, not all characters in this series have a good interaction, Asanagi and Airi characters who become their guardian but it has an important role in the end of the story. They do not have sufficient spotlight or qualified developments to make me feel concerned about what they will do.
Not to mention if we talk about the main characters that should be the main highlight of this series, Ichiya Suzaku and Canaria. I'm pretty sure if both are removed from this series nothing will change much. Because both have very little screen time, let alone character development? I even feel that Kasumi and Asuha are more deserving of being the main characters because they are actually the bearer of this series.
Hope if one day this series gets better
Which they failed to deliver pretty badly. Hope and thought "Oh maybe next week the quality is better." Or "Hopefully the twist plot is different from my guess." Continues every week. Unfortunately none of these expectations are fulfilled. Some twist plot at the beginning of this series is quite surprising, especially when many characters who seem to have been in the end of the horn.
