This is an outstanding review. Not only does it accurately disects the movie but also puts it in a historical context by briefly bringing up the evolution of Disney's animated movies, especially in the Pixar era.
It ws fun to see images of Chicken little again. We can see the amazing changes.
Of course, if we see Pixar's first shorts we'll see that even they had some coarse gems to polish.
I agree with your assessment of the movie. I just watched it with my daughters and it was very useful in making them see the sort behind-the-scence of viral videos or ephemeral social networks celebrities/celebrityhood.
I think that the movie can't do more than that without harming itself and the industry that it represents. It is up to parents and teachers to analize the movie in depth and provide kids with some guidance and insightful questions regarding what they doin the internet and why they do it.
The ineternet has an infinite potential to transform human societies for the better. In my opinion, so far, it has done a lot of harm, but movies like this one may contribute its share to demand better content and raise awareness about the pernicious effects of some others.
