Spider-Man Into the Spider verse Review
Hello everyone today I come to talk about an incredible film that I saw, it's about no more and no less than Spiderman into the Spiderverse and as the title says it's about the new universe that Marvel had not explored in cinemas, this film opened the borders so that more than one arachnid can be on the big screen, so without more to say start.
Synopsis:
In New York City, Miles Molares is a Brooklyn kid who is accepted into an elite school where he constantly struggles with the pressures of his parents and teachers, in addition to this while he was painting graffiti with his uncle he is bitten by a radioactive spider which gives him powers similar to the incomparable Spiderman, although at first he did not want the powers ends up witnessing the battle between Spider-man and the Green Elf to his surprise he is defeated and with his last breaths he entrusts Miles with the task of stopping the plans of the villain Kingpin that put Brooklyn at risk, without experience nor a concrete plan Miles will face the tests of being the new Spidererman while he finds different versions of the favorite arachnid, including Peter B Parker an old and bizarre master who taught him everything he needed to be Spider-Man.
Character analysis:
- Miles Morales/ Spider-Man: He's a half Puerto Rican and half African teenager who grew up in Brooklyn because he won a raffle. He's able to enter an elite school where he's constantly under pressure and is totally isolated because of social differences, but he's still able to escape to see his uncle Aaron whom he holds in high esteem, and his favorite pastime is graffiti painting, while painting with his uncle a spider mixes between the cans and bites his hand, thus obtaining arachnid powers, being from Brooklyn grew up learning popular culture and being Puerto Rican from his mother is naturally cheerful also has an attraction for Gwen Stacy but in the end he settled for his friendship although it is possible to evolve into something more over time, has the habit of sticking labels everywhere that bothers his father, being a policeman this is strict with him but still is comprehensive and is always showing how much he loves his son even though this embarrasses Miles, also has what we commonly call "internal greatness" although he has the potential to do great things is content to be comfortable and relaxed but his father does not like this so he presses him constantly so that he comes out to shine "the spark" that he has. He is totally different from Peter Parker but he still has what every great Spider-Man needs: courage, determination, friendliness and above all a fresh sense of humor.
- Gwen Stacy/ Spider-Gwen: Daughter of police captain George Stacy, Gwen is the perfect blend of elegance and dexterity, her ballet-inspired movement and perfect aim make this girl unstoppable. After being bitten by a radioactive spider she becomes a crime-fighting vigilante, unfortunately she ends up fighting with her friend Peter Parker who becomes her universe in the lizard, when he is defeated Peter dies leaving him a deep scar, making her reluctant to make more friends but when she meets Miles they quickly forge a friendship allowing her to change her attitude, she is smart and determined even though she is not the Gwen Stacy we all know she still maintains the same just and wise spirit that all the Gwen share and she is also a member of a band.
- Pete B Parker/ Spider-Man: Veteran vigilante who has defended New York for a long time, is the Peter Parker we all know, with the exception that he became obsessed with his fame, investing his money in a Spider-Man themed restaurant that later broke this caused stress in his marriage to finally reach his divorce and weight gain, is a lousy teacher because not knowing how to deal with children, does not know how to explain well to his student preferring to teach on the fly, even with all his defects he teaches the basics to the young Miles and instills in him the values that every Spider-Man should have, apparently he was afraid of having children with Mary Jane possibly because he still acts like a child, he has full confidence in his experience as a hero to the point that everything is treated as if it were a joke, although initially he has a hard relationship with Miles he learns to appreciate it to the point of changing his mind about having children.
- Peni Parker/SP//dr,: Japanese version of the incomparable Spiderman, she forms a team with a robot spider called SP//dr which is her best friend, does not seem to be good at relating with other people although it is not difficult to get along with Miles and other Spiders, his expressions and almost all his personality is based on the anime, even his animation is different from others highlighting each apparition, lost his father when he was a young fact that left it marked, is skilled in computers and robotics.
- Peter Parker/Spider-Noir: Old version of Spiderman, is dark and dark, presents himself as someone courteous and cordial who is skillful in fighting, does not usually talk much except to make jokes and highlight his fighting skills, comes from a world where everything is black and white so he usually misses when he sees something of a different color.
- Peter Pork/ Spider-Ham: More comic version of the arachnid hero, cheerful and animated, does not get very depressed despite being a pig is not ashamed of that, even so does not like to be told "caricature" which unleashes his anger thus proving to be very skillful at fighting when he gets angry.
- Wilson Fisk/ Kingpin: Criminal chief of New York and main antagonist of the story, is represented as always as an imposing and terrifying figure, who by fate ends up losing his wife and son, fact that leads him to invest in the collider with the hope of recovering his family, is ruthless and cruel, determined by all means to recover his family even if that destroys Brooklyn and the world, is a skillful fighter in addition to being the one who gave the final blow to the Spider-Man of the universe of Miles.
- Aaron Davis/ Marauder: Professional assassin at the service of Kimping and uncle of the young Miles, Aaron is presented as the typical genius uncle to whom the teenager comes for wisdom and advice, he has a very close relationship with his nephew being best friends and with whom Miles comes when he needs help but underneath it hides a dangerous criminal who hunts Miles to kill him, is skillful fighting body to body and also riding motorbikes, according to him he never gives up so it could be said that he had never failed a job. He used to be close to Miles' father but after he became a policeman they distanced themselves, he shares the taste for graffiti with his nephew encouraging him to paint and helping him in the process he also used to paint with his brother activity that continued with his nephew, who admires him.
- Olivia "Liv" Octavius/ Dock Ock: Alchemax scientist and respected teacher who secretly helps Kingpin with the accelerator, was the first to raise the multi-verse theory and demonstrate its existence, has a bipolar personality as it shows everyone with a cheerful and motivated personality, but when this in the presence of an enemy becomes cold and calculating capable of everything to make Kingpin's dream come true, to see his family again even if it destroys the world in the process.
- Peter Parker/ Spider-Man: He is the climbing justice that we all know except that this is more famous and loved by the city, going so far as to record a Christmas album and have his own series of comics, is married to Mary Jane and is a college student, after tracking Kimping and finding his collider where he ends up fighting with the Green Elf, knows Miles and offers to be his teacher, Unfortunately the Elf takes a moment of hesitation of the hero and puts his face in the collider causing an explosion as well as the event that brings different Spiders to his universe, before being killed this asks Miles to finish what he started, delivering a USB with the codes to deactivate the collider, bequeathing the mantle of Spider-Man to the young Miles Morales.
