Steemit Tips and Tricks. Today update: Reputation Improvemant and why down reputation?
Hello everyone today they are discussion about Raputation.
Reputation::
For me this is the most important number that I want to increase, not my account balance, at least for now. Accounts with high reputation are perceived to have high quality content, so some users don't even read articles posted by low reputation accounts, on the other hand, some up-vote posts from high reputation accounts without even reading the content.
Your reputation goes up when accounts vote on your content. Getting downvoted by someone with a higher reputation can push your reputation down and make your posts less visible.
Just follow some rules for improve your reputation:
Every time another user upvotes one of your posts or comments, it increases your reputation score. Users with a higher reputation than you will have more of a positive effect.
1- High quality content:
Building a high reputation is like building trust with your readers, you don't get it for free, you've to earn it.
So by only posting articles that are high quality.
2- Only two post everyday:
quality is more important than quantity, so investing time in one post is better than wasting hours in a lot of posts.
3- Relevant pictures on your post:
Pictures as the saying goes are worth a thousand words, They will make your post more readable thus more probable to be up-voted.
4- Follow successful users:
You should take advantage of Steemit transparency when it comes to users activity and try to find out the reason behind their success.
5- Multiple idea:
Whenever you think of a new post idea, create a new text file and type it down before you forget about it, so whenever you find something interesting that is relevant to your post idea, type it on that text file. This will come handy when you actually start working on that post.
Try to post some diffrent articles from the other steemit users,so that other users found your post interesting and they will follow you, keep the new thing or your special touch in your posting always so that you can gain you diffrent place in steemit.
6- Be friendly followers:
The main reason of upvotes and comments that you received on your posts are the relationship of you with your followers, try to give them the respect that they deserve, always being ahead to solve their problems, always try to answer their comments in time so that they are going to be positive about you and start reading and upvoting your every posts and also take their advice seriously because they only say a thing to you when they found you can make it even better,so try to listen your followers always.
7- Time selection on your post:
Always post your articles when very less posts are posting frequently, you can see this in new post section, bcz we are small users if we post in peak time when so many users are active,we don't get the attention of the other users,so choose posting time wisely.
Why reputation down?
The only way for your reputation score to go down is to be downvoted by another user. Not all downvotes will cause a reputation loss though.
Downvotes from users with a lower reputation score than you will not hurt your score. If your post or comment that was downvoted still received more upvotes than downvotes (weighted by SP), then the net effect on your reputation score will still be positive.
