Republican Women and Kavanaugh

Radical Feminism Demeans Women
In Alexis Grennel’s opinion piece for the New York Times, “White Women, Come Get Your People” a lot of opinions about Republican women seem to come down to “ white women benefit from patriarchy by trading on their whiteness to monopolize resources for mutual gain.” Ms. Grenell continues by talking about “a blood pact.” Republican women make sure to marry only white men, and reproducing with the same race in order to continue a demographic that favors Republicans. In doing this, Republican women then can only get their ranking positions.

Men and women are trying to throw Republican women, especially those who have openly supported Judge Kavanaugh, under the bus for blame on why Leftist views continue to not be supported in our government. Leftists even see no shame in this!

Women who wanted to affirm Judge Kavanaugh have had to deal with Hell and back, and I think it’s time to pay some respect and sympathy. Notice the difference, though, between sympathy and empathy, as no man should put themselves in the shoes of being a woman. We need to take notice as Leftists like Ms. Grennel claim Republican women are traitors, or as Democrats claim these women are basically nonexistent, or at the suggestion that these women must understand that they have to uphold the belief that any woman could never lie in order to take advantage of someone.

What Republicans Have to Say

The first point is that we Republicans adhere to the idea that women are able to develop their own opinions. Senator Collins voting for Kavanaugh doesn’t mean that she is solely trying to make sure white men see her as favorable to vote for. Senators do have to worry about their constituents, but Collins didn’t resolve to vote for Kavanaugh right when Trump nominated him, nor right after Ford’s letter, nor at the first call to vote, but up until when she had the 7TH FBI INVESTIGATION in front of her. Women are not hive minds, so don’t treat them as if they can’t think differently.

The second point is that we Republicans recognize the women willing to take a skeptical approach when looking into Ford’s, and in actuality five other women’s, allegations. In the #Metoo movement, it seems one side is restricting their opinion to an appeal based in pathos. Meanwhile, Republican women are looking into the logic of the claims made by these accusers, and if there is any evidence that can corroborate their claims.

We have to realize the majority of sexual assaults may have no corroborating evidence though. Having friends tell me of their experiences with men. Examples like unwanted butt grabs, or past dates who tried to take sexual advances show it isn’t unreasonable for there to be no evidence. So, the next challenge for Republican women is questioning ethically if we can ruin someone’s life with only accusations. Their decision is NO, someone’s life shouldn’t be ruined solely off of baseless claims. Especially in Kavanaugh’s case, where he has shown outstanding morals towards women over the past 30 years.

The last point is that we Republicans recognize that women are able to learn from what happens up in D.C., and are able to realize truly what Kavanaugh’s confirmation means. Republican women are able to understand that truth comes from the facts, at least our truth. We may never know the REAL truth about Kavanaugh and Ford’s altercation. One conclusion that Republican women, and hopefully other women, notice is that victims no longer need to be ashamed of coming out. Our country is changing and we are willing to support survivors that speak out! Memories of witnesses deteriorate over time, so try and not wait 36 years. Speaking out sooner helps claims immensely!
