Self-Conquest

The conquest of self is the grandest triumph that man can achieve.
_{Once a day, at least, recall very earnestly that} “You are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you.”

But Deliver Us from Evil

Guard us against evils, both temporal and spiritual. Sin is the greatest of all evils. Purify me from all the sins that I have committed. Suffer me not to offend Thee again. Preserve me from the pain of hell. Give me Thy love and Thy grace that I may serve Thee faithfully on earth and bless and glorify Thee forever in heaven.

Amen.

Father in heaven! grant my petitions, all of which I present to Thee through the merits of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
