Today I would like to look at 2 Peter 3 verse 17 to 18
17)But you, my friends, already know this. Be on your guard, then, so that you will not be led away by the errors of lawless people and fall from your safe position.
18)But continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, now and for ever! Amen
We must strive to learn more and more about Jesus Christ our Lord. We will do this by reading the Bible which is the Word of God. It is of utmost importance to know the Bible well, to resist the false preachers. We will be prayed on by the world and our worldly nature, thus an intimate relation with Jesus is key to resist the temptations of this world.

The onslaught is severe and persistent, we need to pray constantly for the power to resist temptation.
