If I only think that in medieval times for the "Saint war" you needed to pay your indulgence to sponsor the genocides during their horrific campaign against the ones who didn't believe in the catholic church...

History was a bit different than Hollywood and video games (and sometimes Wikipedia and google) tell us. If you want to say something was wrong with a historical event or events, it's good to at least know what actually happened.

My comment was not a lesson or a teaching...
Just a general and personal view in few caracters, then mixing all the facts without time refers to reach the final point, that they never been good as institution, fortunately good heart people from the lowest ranges tryed to really help people many times in that mess.
