Religion in todays world.

I think In today's world Religion is causing more problem than helping people. I live in India and as a diplomatic country there are really some hypocrites there. i my self an atheist born in Hindu religion and when any thing bad happens in my country because of some Hindu extremists i protest and ill write it in FB and without the religion everyone support ( including many Muslims). but whenever something happens because of Islamic extremists and i protest them then these so called Muslim friends use bad words and most of them try to justify things and the explain its not a Islamic thing and the guy who did it not a muslim. but i mean if it happens because of their religion at least then can show the courage to accept it but no. this is called hypocrisy.
