Imperfection = Perfection
I love creating things that make me happy and life easier. But is there any perfect creation? Are we, human, a perfect creation? What is perfection?
In our common beliefs we believe that God is perfect, He is the perfect creator. Human is only a creation, which we believe to be imperfect. We are imperfect because we are not able to do all what God has planned human supposed to be doing at all his life. Recognize this?
Before we go any further let me illustrate this with the imperfect inventor. Let's call him Gepetto, for a while. Gepetto travelled everyday on a house from a town to another, it took him 5 hours horseback riding to the next nearest town. The horse isn't perfect, it's too slow. Then he invented a motorcycle, it can go faster than his horse and it can't catch cold.
By now the motorcycle is his perfect creation, until it was too cold to travel in the winter. Then he invented a car which is much more comfortable than the motorcycle.
Gepetto can now travel much more efficiently and comfortably. He can even travel 4 times as much now. Car is his perfect creation until he feels too tired to travel. He then invented a self-driving car which allows him to sleep while traveling.
Perfect! More effient travels, no more exhausted body. But then he found out that the route the car travels isn't always the cheapest one. Again, Gepetto manage to upgrade his invention to a self-thinking car. He just only have to told him where to go and deliver the goods. When it needs gas, it will find a gas-station itself. When it gets dirty it will wash itself. It's so very perfect.
That's the most perfect creation of Gepetto. It's as if the car has its own soul and mind. It thinks so autonomously that sometimes it feels bored having the same job everyday. So bored that it sometimes took a detour just to enjoy another landscape or even to stop for a few hours to enjoy the sun along the beach.
Is it becomming so perfect that it misses its purpose? Is it the most perfect creation, or actually horseback riding is? We thought he had created the ultimate creation, but unluckily, he didn't. His creation has never been the ultimate perfect creation, because Gepetto is not perfect. A perfect creation must have been then created by a perfect creator. A perfect creator can only create perfect creations. When the creation is not perfect then so neither is the creator. Wouldn't you agree with me?
What is human then, the most perfect creation? How come a perfect creation makes mistakes? Or aren't we perfectly created? It can't be the case either. God is perfect, He is the perfect creator. A perfect creator can't misdesign his creation. Are we then perfectlydesigned to be imperfect?
The answer lies then in perspective. God, the perfect creator, must have not made a flaw when creating the human. Then, the human is really designed to make mistakes! Yes, you don't misread it, we are designed to make mistakes, but without a purpose.
Man is created in God's image, God has imprinted His gene into our design. We know what is perfect and what is bad, somehow. We know that we are far from perfect, but we are perfectly desinged to make mistakes and to learn from it. We ought to learn from our flaws to do better each time. We are not the robot that will always do the job perfectly, that's not perfect! We are a creation that should eventually learn to love God and to love mankind. We are designed imperfect so that we might learn to be perfect. The imperfection is the perfection. Nothing's wrong with making mistakes, it's part of our journey of life. As long as we learn from our mistakes, we are still the perfect creation of the Most High. Even you're saying "I'm not perfect.", you are perfect in God's eyes.
