Yes I think we have been spoon fed what we tend to believe today. People are not encouraged to be critical thinkers. Sad. I do think the Earth is young. 6,000 years would make sense to a point. Here is a thought. may be wrong as I am not educated on this subject and I humbly apologize in advance. The number 3 seams to show up alot in the Bible as a common denominator. What if ....The 7 days of creation were actually 7 thousand years. Mans existence would be the next 7 thousand years. and the thousand year mullinium in Revelations could be the last 7 thousand years. I remember something in the Bible about a day is but a thousand years and a thousand years a day unto the Lord. I could be way off base. Just a crazy thought.
