False Christs and false prophets," are nothing new. They are even spoken of in the book of 1 John.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:18

Pantheism and Newage Beliefs

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Matt 23:23-25

There are many false Christs arising today. Through the flimsy house built upon piles of sandy false teachings. It is part of the Newage movement which really isn't new at all and can even be seen in ancient teachings. It's been around for a very long time, changing its name and drawing more and more people into its snare. I'd say it's been around since the fall of humankind.

The name itself defines its origins and beliefs based on the Greek language.

⁵ The biblical Abram was born in the land of Ur of the Chaldeans. Joshua 24:2 states that Abrams father worshipped idols. The city of his birth is located in the southeastern part of ancient Mesopotamia, which is modern-day Iraq.

The name "Mesopotamia," is actually a Greek word meaning, "Land between two rivers."

"And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods." Joshua 24:2

As you can see. This belief is nothing special, and nothing new. The true God called Abram,( who was later named Abraham) out of that false belief system and into the truth.

This video documentary goes into ancient belief systems, and if you watch closely, you will see based on the artifacts that many of the world belief systems present today tie directly to ancient systems. The speaker is very interesting to watch, as he takes a different approach than typically seen in documentaries.

(Note: Although I agree with much of what he says based on the evidence, I do not in any way, shape or form, agree with him about the book of Enoch. It is unproven and un-needed.)

As you can see, Pantheism is not new, just disguised with different names. There's only one truth, and it isn't the Newage or "spiritualist," system.

Parts 2-4 of this series will delve into how this system is at work in the world today, beginning with Adam and Eve, when satan lied to them saying that they would be like gods. Many within the current new age system hold that very same belief and are still buying into the lie. We'll also take a look at how many of the ancient anti-Christ systems are working their way into Christianity via the "Emergent Church," and mixing of beliefs.
