My Journey To Atheism 01

in #religion7 years ago

As i come from a strict Muslim country with the strict Muslim family background to i used to be forced to go to study at nearest mosque after school which is something quite normal in my country i remember my Mom telling me that the kids who go to study at the Mosque are brighter than the other kids as motivation for me to go and that where the Journey started.......to send your kid to study at a mosque is the worst thing to do to your kid its torturing place for kids i would say you will be forced to memorize verses from the Quran (holly book of Islam) that in is in your mother tongue but yet you cant understand and it dose not make any since but still the worst part is you would be hit with a stick until you start bleeding if you don't memorize 30 lines of Quran for the next day, i still remember how i was nervous the whole time i was there and how the only thought i had in my mind is avoid being hit with the stick for the next three hours that i am going to spend at the mosque, that feeling created hate towards my religion and there i started thinking to my self that god after all god wasn't a very nice thing and his house was the house of torture............
