Check Who You Are
There is an African adage that says “Only the dead body attracts flies!” This is very true in the case of attracting the opposite sex. If you find yourself attracting bad guys, then you need to check yourself, you probably have some bad things about you. If you keep attracting fake guys who borrow everything they wear, guys who will go to any length to impress a lady; then you probably are the same type, you probably are living beyond your standard too.

We can’t deny that once in a while, you will attract guys who are not your type but if it keeps happening non-stop, then you have got to check yourself well. Take time out and do a deep soul searching. Ask your friends what they think about you. Ask people who care about you. You might just find out some deep things you didn’t know before.

Check Who You Keep Company With
Another thing you need to check is who you keep company with. If you are a good girl and you keep hanging out with bad girls, then you are going to attract bad guys. Wrong associations will bring you where you don’t want to be. So the second thing to check is who you are spending your time with. Check who you top 3 friends are. Check their lifestyle and the kinds of things they do. Check who your friend’s friends are then you will know why you are attracting the wrong set of guys.

Check Where You Hang Out
The third thing to check if you are always attracting the wrong set of guys is where you hang out. Where do you spend your time? You probably are not going to attract pastors when you are always in the club; the pastors are in the churches, not in the club houses! This matters a great deal. It may be hard for you, it may actually feel like you are faking who you are but hey, this is marriage we are talking about. This is who you want to spend the rest of your life with. Therefore, you cannot make mistakes about that.
