Marriage Golden Rule 5: Never Give Up On Each Other

You can marry an angel, but be prepared to live with a personality. As a matter of fact, your husband or wife is not an angel, he or she is human. Your spouse is not infallible, he or she has the capacity to make mistakes. Always read on the forehead of your partner: I am not perfect yet, God is still working on me! We are all still work-in-progress in God’s hands.

No marriage is perfect.

There is no perfect couple but imperfect couple who get wrapped up in a common vision bigger than themselves to stay together as husband and wife come what may. You must agree between yourselves that you don’t want to know the end of your marriage. Keep trying, keep working on one another until the best man or woman you want emerge.

Never give up on your spouse!

See every misunderstanding as another opportunity to understand each other more. See every challenge as a new experience to grow stronger together and every obstacle as a privilege to move to the next level as a family.
