Can you forgive your spouse if they cheated on you?
I beleive the answer is yes and it depends. If you know the person you married then you know they made a mistake and it's up to both of you to figure out why. When a partner cheats it's because they no longer feel that they are receiving the attention they once did and have found it somewhere else. If you love your partner, you will have to put your pride aside and talk. Remenber that when you forgive someone you don't do it to forget. You do it so you can put it behind you and move forward with your life. Now are there people who cheat and will do it again? Yes, but if you have a partner like that more than likely they were never comitted to you in the first place. You should leave that person because they will not change. Staying with them more than likely will only bring you more pain. Life is beautiful and you should never allow someone to disrespect you over and over. Life can be complicated and relationships will always have their ups and downs. But deep inside I beleive that when we marry someone we know where their heart is. If you are ever in this situation I know it can be hard but keep in mind that it's up to you to keep or leave the one you love.
