Goodevening reat minds! Happy New week, am sure we had a wonderful day today. It was our covenant day of marital breakthrough in church yesterday and I would like to share with us some covenant tips for marital breakthrough.
Every single desire and crave for a good man/woman that will complete them in an amazing way, same as every couple crave for more strength in their marriage and a peaceful home. But all this can never be except you build your relationship on some guiding principles that can help you to become who you desire to be in it.
Pastor Zadrach of Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners chapel Damaturu branch gave some covenant tips for marital breakthrough both for singles and married.
He started by talking about marriage to be God's idea and an honourable position a man/woman could ever achieved because it's a covenant relationship and for someone to venture into it, some guiding principles for a success in it need to be known.

TIPS FOR MARITAL BREAKTHROUGH FOR SINGLES
=> Build a relationship with God first (job 1 v 12)
=> Get knowledge by reading book and write ups on marriage (job 21 v 22)
=> Discover and purse God's purpose for your life. Don't be lazy!
=> Have a desire for a life partner, it doesn't happen by accident
=> Be bold to take step. Don't be too shy! (proverb 28 v 1)
=> Clean up and position yourself well both spiritually and physically. Don't be dirty or position yourself too cheap.
=> Have a mentor! Those that have gone ahead and far in marriage affairs and have become successful in it
=> Commit it to prayer

=> Build your marriage on the word of God (Ephesians 5 v 21-28).
=> Always pray together
=> Have a vision for your family (Habakkuk 2 v2).
=> Give room for open and effective communication as it is the fuel for good and successful relationships.
=> Avoid unhealthy competitions. Don't compete with each other with material things. Swallow your ego, whatever you have belong to the two of you. Avoid using the word I but We.
=> Deal extensively with wrong association.
=> Understand each others nature. Avoid what should be subtracted and add what should be included.
=> Stand and stay strong to wage war against devil and overcome every storm of life
Are you single and desire to get married anytime soon, the first listed points are for you to take note and digest before going into life contract. I pray the lord will give you a man or woman after His own very heart that will complete you.
