JUSTICE ON TRIAL: WHO TRULY ARE THE CRIMINALS IN NIGERIA?

Dele FAROTIMI is in detention for exposing corrupt practices within the Nigerian judicial system, but YAHAYA BELLO, who looted Kogi State funds according to Omoyele Sowore, succeeded in stealing at least $100M and was granted bail. DAVIDO was dragged for saying, "Nigeria is in shambles," while Nnamdi KANU is being tagged a criminal for standing out as an icon of hope for the Igbos. Meanwhile, Boko Haram members, who kill at will, are being given VIP treatment. The marginalized easterners will always stand with KANU, who referred to Nigeria as a "Zoological Republic governed by baboons," because the political class has failed all of us in Nigeria, APC, PDP, LP and all other political party members, Rich or Poor, both the Old and Young, Muslim, Christian, traditionalists, ......... ; We All are Victims.

Human rights activist SOWORE called out the Inspector General of Police (EGBETOKUN) in a report published by Sahara Reporters, labeling the police chief an illegal IGP who will destroy the Nigerian Police Force with egregious human rights violations if Nigerians refuse to act.

Now, KEMI BADENOCH, a UK party leader who had once claimed that she has nothing in common with Northern Nigeria and Boko Haram, is allegedly accusing police personnel of stealing her brother's shoes and wristwatch. Kemi claimed, "Nigeria is a very poor country; police steal from citizens."

I believe KEMI hasn’t been updated on the numerous corrupt practices in Nigeria, where government officials bring relief materials or empowerment programs and use other means to steal those same palliatives. And when we speak up, we see different forms of court summons.

How about the just-concluded Local Government Council Elections all over the country? Especially the show of shame that took place Kaduna State, people that we thought should be respected shamelessly wasted public funds on NOTHING. Yes, I mean nothing! The government that I know will spend, SIECOM will spend, political parties will spend, candidates vying for different positions will spend, and stakeholders will spend. Funds were wasted on an election that didn’t even hold but surprisingly, results were announced. It was clearly a breach of the fundamental rights of Nigerian citizens to vote and be voted for. This cycle produces dishonourable (so-called) leaders who, many will say, lack integrity and are unworthy to be seen as community members working with honour.

For speaking out, I DABO EUCLID AMMEL have been summoned four times in court, with all cases withdrawn before the date of hearing. Why the intimidation? Kaura LGA politics kenan.

To our leaders: always remember that no human will leave this world alive. We will all DIE. There is no time for doing anything else but what is right and just.

Just like Dino Melaye will always say and so I conclude:
“If you say the truth, you die. If you don’t say the truth, you will still die someday. So, it is better you say the truth and die peacefully.”
