He asked; she said...
I've watched countless videos of men who proposed to their spouses in a most amazing way at mind blowing locations.
I have a colleague who proposed to his partner in a hotel.
I was there with my friend when he popped the question to his fiancee, "Will you marry me?" which she eagerly responded with a resounding "Yes".
And then, the ring followed.
It was such a beautiful moment, filled with scent of love, life and hope.
But more often than not, majority of people do not know what it truly means to say YES!
Some just want to have that ring on their finger.
They see it as fun to wear.
Look, proposal is a beautiful moment.
Saying YES is good.
Having him kneel down to put a ring on your finger is so gorgeous and fantastic.
But that's just scratching the surface when it comes to being his help meet.
That is, being his wife.
Saying Yes means dedication to your man day in day out.
It means sacrificing your personal pleasures, thoughts and energy for the higher calling of being his wife.
Saying Yes means accepting to do something even when you don't feel like doing them just for the sake of the family.
It means sacrificing your convenience some of the times.
So it's not all about proposal, the ring or the wedding day.
It's mostly about being committed to him as his help meet.
Good day, Steemians!
Thanks for reading!
God loves you all!!
