MY PERSPECTIVE ABOUT THIS INSTITUTION-#MARRIAGE#
People get engaged and get married on a daily basis. But some do not actually know what they have signed up for while those who know just want to get into the institution to fulfil all righteousness.
Marriage goes beyond the wedding day, it takes a lot of sacrifice to make it work. What baffles me is that some beautiful dreams are killed instantly once married which isn't supposed to be at all. Your spouse before joining to you had dreams and aspirations before he/she agreed to marry you and it will be really unfair to deprive them the joy of achieving and actualizing their dreams.
As a help mate, you should be a builder to your better half. Let them be much better than the way you met them. If they had just a degree, push them to further. If they had just one skill, support them to learn more and establish themselves. If you are growing or improving in your career/profession, carry your spouse along with you. There will be peace and better understanding if you carry them along. You shouldn't be leaving too much gap between you and your spouse in terms of career or business because if this happens, you two wouldn't be able to match up and then, conflicts will surely arise.
I have also realized that men especially hardly let their wives advice or suggest ideas that will benefit the home. What surprises me is that most of these women performed excellently well than them in school or are even doing better in their businesses or career but their husbands never believe they can make a good suggestion or even if they do, they become stubborn and unsubmissive women. But little do you know that that idea might be the best. Give your spouse the opportunity to express themselves. This will not only make them more confident but love you more. It is disheartening when a loved one thinks you've got nothing to offer.
Marriage as I said needs efforts from both sides. There should'nt be an occasion before a gift can be bought for your spouse. Women if you do not like that shirt your husband wears or if you think the boxers is worn-out then change it and not complain. So also they men. Love your spouse, make your home an example to everyone, especially your children. With love we can conquer.
