That is how I felt when I first moved here and stepped into the forest, feeling the energy of my Fire Tree for the very first time as I gazed upon her.

It wasn't long after that I began asking my new neighbors and other life-long residents of the area about the history of what is now The Reiki Forest.

Before The Reiki Forest came to be what it is today, there was a small house on this land many years ago. I am still learning much about the past life of this property from the people around me, and even more-so from the land & plants themselves.

From the information that I have gathered, it was in the early 80's that the little house burned down, and it was during this tragedy that my "Fire Tree" overcame the odds in the face of death and still stands today..as a symbol of profound Strength, Healing, Growth & Transformation.

This tree holds an extra special place in my heart, as I too, have overcome the odds in the face of flames in my life as well.
