My wife and I do not have the time or money to go on vacations abroad or even to more distant parts of the US. Our vacations are limited to camping or going to the Gulfcoast casinos with her mother-in-law, which is fine. I don't see the appeal in spending days on end on patches of sand near salt water or going to explore concrete jungles somewhere else.
I'm totally with you there. Why spend all this extra time and money to be lost all the time when you have something great, and much cheaper, that is quite close to where you already reside?
