In 2007 the 42-year-old Englishman Tony Wright from the town Penzans, Great Britain has tried to set a wakefulness record — he didn't sleep 266 hours (and it is more than 11 days), from May 14 to May 25. But Wright's record hasn't been brought in the Guinness Book of Records: because of harm to health this category has been excluded by then by organizers from the collection. 17-year-old Randi Gardner from the city of San Diego (California) in far 1963 has managed to register the previous record of wakefulness officially. He also didn't sleep 11 days in a row, but is two hours less, than Tony Wright — 264 hours.

What happened to Randi until he slept? According to him, at first he felt very tired and irritable. From the fifth day he had had syndromes which are typical for schizophrenia. Then he began hallucinations and paranoia. He considered that the road sign is a person and also believed that the leader of radio station wants to kill him. Then motor functions of Randi have begun to hand over: there was a shiver in fingers, the speech became muffled, the school student couldn't execute the simplest mathematical problems, besides he is banal forgot in what, actually, and the task consisted. At last Randi has fallen asleep, has overslept 14 hours, was awake even days, then has fallen asleep for 8 hours, and the normal cycle of a dream wasn't interrupted after that.

screenshots and sends to boyfriend ah.. dealing with this first hand. Sometimes my guy won’t sleep for 3 days + because all he wants to do is work... I couldn’t imagine 11! That’s insane.

I would even tell that it is abnormal)
