Recognize the existence of others

Not recognizing people's existence and rights is defined as nationalism. But this definition itself is the nationalism definition of nationalism. Nationalists define not recognizing the rights of other nations as nationalism.

Recognizing the existence or separation of others does not contradict or even necessitate nationalism, even reactionary nationalism. Nationalism is the principle of the coincidence of the national and the political. It is in no way contradictory to nationalism, even to a reactionary nationalism.
