Hi Steemians it's been a while since my last food post. Hope you'll enjoy this one :)
Tired of your usual fried chicken?
Want to have something that your kids will enjoy?
A twist from your ordinary meal?
Here’s a recipe that’s right for you!
Being independent (including students, moms, career people) requires time management when it comes to cooking; we want something that we can cook in a jiffy. We want things that we can easily prepare and we can eat almost any time of the day.
That’s why everyone loves FRIED CHICKEN. It’s so easy to cook and not time consuming. And in three easy steps you’ll achieve this recipe that your family will surely love.
What do we need?
MAIN INGREDIENTS:
HONEY
As everyone knows, honey is a golden colored liquid made by bees using nectar from flowers. This will give a sweet kick to our dish.
Source
Trivia : Do you know that the flavor of Honey vary based on the types of flowers they were harvested from. :)

I suggest better store some honey in your shelves because aside from using it for cooking, it has some health benefits like a cure form simple cough and soothes sore throat. Honey can also be used as natural sweetener for those watching out for their sugar levels.
Thank you @luigienius for this honey that he bought for me. :)
GARLIC
I used a glove of fried/roasted garlic in this recipe. I love the aroma and garlicky flavor of it. :)

Watch outs! Garlic can cause if consumed TOO MUCH bad side effects like halitosis and burning of your mouth. So be careful!
CHICKEN
For me you can use any part you want, but since I’m in a tight budget I used ½ kilo of chicken and i just cut it in small pieces.
OTHERS:
Oyster Sauce
Brown Sugar (optional)
SALT
PEPPER
RECIPE PROCEDURE:
In a Tupperware or Ziploc place the chicken, flour, salt and pepper. Shake well until you can see that the chicken was fully coated with flour.
Step 2
Fry your chicken until its golden brown. Drain in paper towel/napkin to remove excess oil. Then fry your chopped garlic. Set aside.
Watch outs! The amount of garlic is optional depending on your preference or mood. :)
Tips: For a well cooked chicken, lower your fire after the oil is hot.
Step 3
In a pan, heat your 1 pack of Oyster sauce and 2 tbsp. of Honey. Wait until it boils. Pour it in your chicken. Shake well until you can see your fried chicken beautifully glazed with the mixture. Sprinkle with roasted garlic. Serve with hot rice.
See it’s very easy. We’ve done this in 3 simple steps.
Try this at home! I’d love to hear your feedbacks :)

today i try it.
Thanks for checking this out! I'll love to hear your feedback after :) Enjoy!
welcome
This is a good recipe. The chicken is inviting and would really attract more rice(HAHA). One piece of advice though, I find deep frying better than shallow oil. Over low heat, this ensures all parts of the meat evenly fried.
All in all, good idea to have fried chicken kissed with the sweetness and health benefits of the liquid gold. I would really love to see recipes from you that are specialties in your place.
Thanks for that tip! And again thank you for the honey fren @luigienius :) Yep will be working on recipes from bacolod :)
