Thx for this. I like to make my own jerky too (wish I had some deer meat to try). I marinate overnite in teriyaki sauce. I like to cut the meat a little chunky so it doesn't dry out as much.
Hmmm... If you live in the states I could perhaps ship you some venison to try.
That's a kind offer sir. I just don't trust our delivery folks (where I live anyways). Packages often get left on front porch, in sun. They are in such a hurry, they often don't even knock anymore. I hope to relocate to a more deer-friendly area -- soon??? Then I can try it out. Thx.
